2011 Subaru Forester Seat Room and Comfort: Pros
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2011 4dr SUV 170-horsepower 2.5L H4
4-speed shiftable automatic AWD
The rear seat room is generous. see full Subaru Forester review
2010 4dr SUV turbocharged 224hp 2.5L H4
4-speed shiftable automatic AWD
leather seat "baquet" has very good lateral control, but leather is slippery on braking see full Subaru Forester review
2010 4dr SUV 170-horsepower 2.5L H4
4-speed shiftable automatic AWD
Enough room to feel comfortable, even at 6 feet tall. The fact that the Premium Trim package allows rear seats to recline a bit helps a lot as well. see full Subaru Forester review

What Our Members Are Saying about the Seat Room and Comfort of the 2013 Nissan Versa

2013 Nissan Versa Seat Room and Comfort: Pros
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2014 0 I was expecting zero room in the back, but I sat in the backseat even with the drivers seat adjusted far back (I'm 5'11" but long legs and tend to adjust seats to the back end of their travel), I had reasonable legroom for a very compact car. The seat covering material was pleasant as well. see full Nissan Versa review
2013 4dr Sedan 109-horsepower 1.6L I4
5-speed manual FWD
Even with the front seats slid all the way back, this car still has more room than almost any other car -- almost as much room as a BMW 780IL. see full Nissan Versa review
2012 4dr Sedan 109-horsepower 1.6L I4
CVT FWD
Only subcompact we test drove that could actually fit four adults. More rear leg room than many midsize cars. see full Nissan Versa review
2013 Nissan Versa Seat Room and Comfort: Cons

When I bought the car, I laid the seat down all the way to make sure it would be comfortable enough to nap on.  It is, but it's slightly more comfortable if the car is parked on an incline because the seat doesn't quite go down completely flat... although come to think of it I haven't tried raising the seat height with the lever then setting the seat back.  Anyway, the passenger side doesn't have a seat height adjustment lever and it doesn't quite make a 180% flat angle either. see full Nissan Versa review
