Subaru is known for building good quality cars for a good price. Their zero landfill plants make the WRX a more environmentally friendly decision than the Prius (even with only 25 MPG). And of course, their symmetrical AWD, which surprised even me. see full Subaru Impreza / Outback Sport review

I have owned GM & Honda’s, My experience with the long term reliability of the Honda’s were impressive. I can’t say the same for GM. The General now says this car’s quality is up there with the best of them, only time will tell. see full Saturn AURA review

Overall, GM does not have as good a reputation as Honda or Toyota in terms of reliability, which is a major factor in my purchase decisions. I was largely willing to discount that concern on this purchase. see full Saturn AURA review
