Engine not specified

The engine cover was broken when I received the car
1000 mi Brake fluid contaminated from factory. Oily substance mixed in. Caused the brake fluid to darken to the point where it looked to have 20-30k of usage on it. Flushed the system and replaced the master cylinder. Persistent clink in the shift-interlock every time I came to a stop. Subaru's position was "normal noise, no problem". It drove me nuts in traffic. Needed the TSB for the rear view compass/backup camera mirror - the compass would lock-up. the TSB did fix the problem.
1000 mi Nasty vibration from torque converter going in and out of lock-up. Dealer had car several times unable to replicate. I took off from work to take service manager and tech for instrumented ride, had no problem recreating problem. Replaced valve body.

The second valve body started acting up within a day or two, needed to be replaced when I traded it.

The manuf. replaced "stablizer lk f, rub bush stab, both stablizier bar busings/brackets/link R & R." Not sure what to check above. Car would not turn over or start one morning. Later, was able to start after several attempts. Manuf. couldn't find anything wrong & so far, problem has not recurred.

237000 mi Clutch slipping, worn out, due to maladjustment on previous clutch job 4k miles prior. Replaced along with flywheel under 50/50 warranty. Filling station pumps stopping every 1/2 gallon or so; CEL light (fuel system pressure high). Told due to clogged vent valve located on top of fuel pump. I only gas it up a couple times a month. Not worth the hassle.

Prior clutch replacement at 232000 was done by them, pedal return spring not correctly installed. Whoever replaced thermostat prior did not tighten a radiator hose clamp resulting in a slow external coolant leak that was noticed when heat stopped working and car overheated.
