Why the 2004 Toyota Camry?

Reliability & durability

In my experience with Toyota, the Camry will take us well past 250K remaining tight.

Ride smoothness

The ride is softer and more forgiving than most other cars albeit at the expense of crisp handling. This is most important in Northern Maine where our roads can be rough.

Fuel economy

Consistently maintains a blend of 30 mpg

Front seat room

For a small car it fits my 6"3" frame well and it is comfortable on long trips.

Past personal experience

I have owned a 1990 Camry and 1998 Avalon in the past and drove both well past 250K with nothing but great experience

Why Not the 2004 Toyota Camry?

Quietness

The Camry has more noticeable wind noise than other cars.

Handling

The suspension is soft and does have some body roll.
