2014 The Corolla's specs indicate rear legroom worthy of a large sedan, 41.3 inches, a substantial four more than in the Sentra and five more than in last year's Corolla. To provide this increase, Toyota stretched the car's wheelbase by four inches, taking it from the shortest in the segment to the 106.3-inch dimension shared by the Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, and Nissan. The Ford Focus, with a 104.3-inch wheelbase, is now the briefest of the bunch. The Corolla's overall length has also grown by four inches, to 182.6. Subjectively, the Corolla's advantage over the Sentra seems about half as large. Still a lot of legroom for a compact, especially in conjunction with a more comfortably positioned seat. 2013 Lexus have also tended to be more comfortable than competitors. The front seats in the RX are generously sized and very comfortably shaped. They're softer than those in competitors (the Cadillac SRX's buckets are borderline hard), yet are properly supportive. Though the side bolsters aren't large--only the upholstery, black with white perforations, differs from the regular RX 350--lateral support is sufficient for how the Lexus asks to be driven (we'll get to this). see full Lexus RX review

Probably because they were designed to fold in a single step to form a nearly flat floor, the 40-20-40 rear seats in the RX 350 aren't nearly as comfortable as the front seats. Passengers have plenty of room, but the seat cushion is too low to provide adults with thigh support and the seat back is too flat. The rear seat in the SRX isn't as roomy, and isn't much more comfortable. But I'd much rather spend time in the back seat of some other competitors. see full Lexus RX review
