Interesting thing is it's not burning enough oil to do the "repair". According to the Toyota TSB on the issue the car needs to burn more then 1 quart in 1000 miles. The repair is to replace the pistons and rings which is not trivial, and rather expensive. I will do an oil analysis and see if I have excessive metal. And if not switch oil to a 0w-30 or 0w-40. | ||
