Fuel economy
A real-world 50+ miles per gallon. This is achieved by going 55 MPH or thereabouts, and on limited-access hiways. In-town mileage of course is worse.
Exterior styling
The thing is just too durn cute for words. A major chick-magnet, I have found, now that I am married....

Front seat room
Plenty of headroom for a 6 ft. plus frame, and more leg room than I can use.
Rear seat room & comfort
Oh, there is a seat there? I thought that was the hamster roost. Very limited seating in back - suitable for small children. Rear seats do not recline at all, so posture is quite erect.
Cargo capacity
The boot, such as it is, will hold... well... a boot. That is about it. A lot of compromises were made for the Beetle form factor. In truth, the Golf or Jetta TDIs are probably better overall selections, unless one is really, really into Beetles.
