Run away from this car! 2002 Volkswagen Passat Pros and Cons Member5824 This car has had multiple major breakdowns every six months since we purchased it in 2011. I should have known: looking at other models of this year, this car is historically unreliable. Do not get this car unless you like sitting around car repair shops and spending lots of money... |
2005 Volkswagen Passat Pros and Cons Member5412 Though garaged when not in use and with less than 60k miles, exhaust hangers had rotted through such that the exhaust pipe literally fell off the car while driving down the road. Additionally, neither rear window motor remains in working order. |
