A cracked vacuum line for the brakes had to be replaced - brakes were not dependable. An interim patching repair to minimise leakage was performed while waiting for the correct part to arrive. When the part arrived, the line was replaced.
121000 mi Parking brake cable "popped loose" from bracket under dashboard that maintains tension on the cable, leading to parking brake being "stuck". The cable fits into an l-bracket with a slot, the head of that section of the cable being pulled out sufficiently to create tension. It was replaced in the slot, and I am keeping a cable-tie handy in the car if the cable head pops loose again. Extremely annoying, yes, but it also very closely mimics the symptoms of a broken cable, which is a bit more heart-stopping with the car parked a long way from a dealer.
