The boxy shape of the V70R enables it to hold an amazing amount of gear. Four of us toured Europe for seven weeks in this car and had no problems fitting all of our bags into the rear of the car. It was tight but it all went in.
The V70R represents excellent bang-for-the-buck. Comparable Audis cost noticeably more and comparable BMWs and Mercedes cost a ridiculous amount more for generally less performance and utility. The price of a used V70R is a real bargain.
