fuel system sensor malfunctioning so it was replaced under warranty at the BMW dealer.
High pressure fuel pump failed and BMW is repairing all of their cars suffering from this manufacturing defect. High pressure fuel pump and several fuel injectors were replaced by the BMW dealer at no charge.
Noticed a ticking sound from engine on startup. Dealer said it was a known problem (sticking lifter) and fixed it by revving to 2500 rpm for a minute. According to the forums, it's a known problem. Will probably be fixed after warranty expires at my ex
