Aug 2008   Clicking Noise from steering column. Steering shaft replaced. 
Apr 2009 C $250 Engine has not warmed up adequately in my opinion since new. I have complained about this a couple of times over the last couple of years but the dealer would not do anything about it. Decided to replace thermostat on my own. Now heating up OK 
May 2009   Fuel Line blew off fuel filter. The plastic hose clamping part was broken. As the plastic part was not available. the fuel line from the filter was replaced.  
Dec 2009   Routine Check of brakes. Front pads replaced & rotors resurfaced. 
Sep 2010   Brakes were sqeaking, Cleaned rust buidup on drums & rotors 
Dec 2010   Heater Recirculation Damper not operating 
Jan 2011   Heater/A/C Recirculation Damper repaired 
May 2011   Replaced Front Control Arms (Bushings were worn)

May 2008   Interior ceiling light works sporadically, 2nd time in shop for same problem. Replaced whole assembly, works fine. 
Jul 2008   Bolt holding transmission assembly in place had loosened off and transmission was lurching underneath the car. 
Sep 2009   car wobbled if brakes applied firmly, warped rotor driver's side mirror no longer heated to remove moisture & frost. dealer repaired, works now 
Sep 2010 C $150 The bearings in the transmission went bad. Dealer covered under the drivetrain warranty. No cost to us. picked up from shop after transmission repair, week later, front wheel bearing and accelerator cable had to be done.

May 2009 US $235 Air bag warning lamp on, replaced clock spring in steering column. Warped rotors causing shimmy upon braking, replaced rotors and installed new pads. High-speed shimmy caused by worn sway bar links, replaced and problem fixed. 
Sep 2009   Air conditioner condenser leaking, replaced by dealer. 
Aug 2011   Airbag clock spring failed again, dealer repaired at my expense.

Feb 2008 US $1100 Transmission burned up at 18,036 miles- Ford said warranty exp at 18,000 miles- Sorry. 
May 2008   Electric Lock assembly defective Installed new power lock assembly. 
Mar 2009   Another door lock assembly required replacement. 
Apr 2009   Thumping noise in front suspension. Dealer advised nothing was wrong. 
Jun 2009   I went back again and requested that another service tech. look at the car with better hearing. At that time they discovered and replaced the Suspension Control Arm.  
Nov 2009   Pwr Steering pump- Third attempt to repair by Dealership. Could not find problem until car was out of warranty. Hummmm.

Apr 2009   Power steering howl. O-ring between reservior and pump replaced. Headrest moves up when getting into car. Drivers seat belt adjuster stuck in full up position. Told by dealer that it was caused by owner. Noise coming from rear of car. Sounded like a hammer tapping on the brake drum. E-brake cable clip replaced with revised clip. Horn quit working. Electric trunk release would usually buzz but not release the trunk latch. Worked occasionally or if lifting the trunk while buzzing. New trunk release installed. 
Nov 2011 US $40 Replaced headlight bulb and instrument panel lights. 
Aug 2013   Replaced front strut mounts. 
Sep 2013   Replaced leaking driver's side rear wheel cylinder. Wheel bearing started making noise. 
Dec 2013   Wheel Bearing noise Clutch Master Cylinder leaking. 
Aug 2014   Replaced front struts, strut mounts, strut bearings and stabilizer bar links. 
Nov 2014   Replaced leaking master cylinder

Nov 2009 C $150 problem discovered during yearly safety inspection. Had to replace rear sway bar links. Common problem in this area (bad roads). 
Dec 2009   Clutch travel had changed, with very narrow catch threshold. Shop inspected clutch and bled the system and problem appears to be better now. However it still feels different than it used to. May require another trip. Squeaking when hitting bumps. E-brake cable was making noise. Shop installed plastic clips to keep it in place. Issue resolved.

Sep 2009 US $450 Steering wheel and car were vibrating annoyingly around 65-70 mph. The front sway bar needed to be replaced, and also the tires were pretty worn. Replacing these items fixed the problem. 
Nov 2009   Check engine light came on, wife had simultaneously noticed some kind of transmission hiccup. Took it to shop, code said there was an intermittent problem with transmission position sensor. Cleared code, has not recurred. 
Aug 2011   The trunk latch was not working reliably--it often required multiple attempts to get it to latch securely. The latch was replaced and that fixed the problem.
