Jul 2010   Envoy went in for Check engine light turned out to be a air pump sensor.  While in shop they noticed the water pump was leaking. Replaced. Fan clutch was also replaced. They also noticed that the cam actuator solenoid was leaking. Replaced.

Aug 2008 US $400 Instrument cluster stopped working. GMC refused assistance for Envoy, although there is a current recall for the larger trucks. Vehicles must fall under 70K miles to be covered--too low considering the years involved. 
Mar 2009   To dealer for mechanical diagnosis of faulty instrument panel cluster--required by GM in order to qualify for assistance. Assistance declined once again after official diagnosis. Will escalate problem from current status.

Dec 2010 US $187 misfire at cyl6 after changing plugs and fuel filter. Checked plugs for cracking and gap, no problems, compression test okay, fuel economy has declined by 25%. Coils okay. no stalling, hesitation, or overheating, idles roughly.
