I have put over 1,000 miles on this GMC Terrain Denali. I purchased it as a GM Certifited Used Car. So far I am loving the comfort, the quiet, ride quality, entertainment package, and the fuel economy. I?m averaging 25 ? 27 in the city and 29 ? 33 on the highway. The seats are very comfortable and adjustable.

The headlights really work well with nice even lighting. If I were to try and point out any negatives I might point to the exhaust noise, I am not so much a fan of how it sounds during acceleration. It is fine while crusing. There is a slight amount of engine vibration while at idle setting at a traffic light. All in all I really am enjoying this vehicle and my wife does too.

I personally like the styling of the outside of this vehicle. It has a rugged look and the headlights and taillights adds to the over all look. With the Denali package it has the fog lights and special grill and a few more items that make it look sharp.

I live in Michigan where the winter weather can become not so driver friendly. The one I am reviewing is the FWD version, which may do okay in the snow and cold, but the AWD might be a better choice. I'm not worried about my choice mainly because I winter down in Florida and I really don't see me needing AWD. My choice of FWD I believe gives me better fuel economy with less mass of the transfer case and added hardware for the AWD.

I know that some of the earlier models of the 4 cylinder engine had oil consumption issues. I'm hoping it is not an issue for this 2015 version with direct injection. I guess time will tell. The good thing, I have lots of warranty coverage just in case.

We loved our 2015 Terrain SLT 2.4l with AWD. If you go over 40-some mph the rear axle disengages and just the front is propelled. While it helps my wife likes to go 80+ mph in the left lane so our economy takes a hit. But if I get on the highway and do the speed limit the Last 50 mile avg will be at 30+ mpg and climbing.

We just went out west and back and out 6,000 mIles on the Terrain without a hiccup and only consumed some tire tread going up moutains like the Rockies with plenty pedal remaining .

We love the GMC Yukon like back seat space that slides 9" and I do like the softer cushion bottoms better than the front. Coming from Cadillacs and Buick's the ride is a little stiff or truckish which I guess matches the outside.

My then girlfriend had a Subaru when we met and it slowly ate away at my synthetic oil reserves before we traded it the oil consumption was so bad. Today, my wife says the Terrain SLT is her favorite car ever.

Just got a 2015 Terrain Denali V6 with 38,000 km. Traded a 2013 Dodge Journey RT loaded. Pros on the Terrain are smooth ride (use the cruise or you'll get a ticket ), smooth acceleration and smooth shifting (unlike the Dodge), memory seats, tilting mirrors in reverse, power liftgate, great headlights, very comfortable seats with decent side bolsters, looks inside and out. Cons are that it is less sophisticated tech wise than the 2 year older Journey. Journey push button start, lock and unlock the doors and start the car with out taking the key out of your pocket. The Intellilink was anything but. Had to read the manual several times, not a very intuative unit. All in a though I like the Denali.
