2018 GMC Terrain SLT Diesel Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh Diesel engines burn far cleaner than they used to. But even the best retain disadvantages. Diesel fuel is nasty, greasy stuff, with a feel closer to motor oil than gasoline. Spill any on your hands, clothes, shoes, or car while filling up and it doesn't evaporate away like gas does.... 2015 GMC Terrain Pros and Cons Member6487 Fuel economy, for a vehicle over 4,000lbs, and a 300hp V6 engine, is going to be low. But at between 15-18mpg, for suburban driving, it seems a bit low. I wanted to the V6 so it would not struggle, and I did that knowing the MPG's were not great, but... |

2014 Jeep Cherokee Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh When I was especially easy on the new Cherokee's gas and brake pedals, its trip computer reported averages as high as 31.8 in suburban driving. I observed suburban averages around 27 more often--still quite good for a powerful all-wheel-drive crossover. The clunky nine-speed automatic deserves a lot of the credit,... 2012 GMC Terrain Pros and Cons Member5811 Although I have never seen this truck get the estimated fuel economy it boasts about in advertising, considering the shear mass of it and it's breadbox front end, with the I4 the fuel economy is very good considering it is a heavy little beast with AWD. I can average 700... |

2013 GMC Terrain Denali V6 Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh On a positive note, the larger V6 earns the same EPA fuel economy ratings as the old one. On a less positive note, it also earns the same fuel economy ratings as the much larger, 4,850-pound Acadia: 16 city, 23 highway. In suburban driving the trip computer reported high teens... Nice vehicle overall but subpar fuel economy 2010 GMC Terrain Pros and Cons Member4527 Vehicle doesn't come close to 32 mpg highway spec. Average is 26-27 mpg. Big disappointment given the marketing of the vehicle. |

2010 GMC Terrain Pros and Cons st1100boy Fuel economy was a big factor in purchase decision. Real world mileage not really close to 32 epa rating, but still pretty decent for a big, comfy station wagon-esque vehicle. |
