2019 Kia Forte Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh Much like Toyota's latest compact cars (such as the tested Corolla Hatchback), the new Kia Forte in non-GT form handles with commendable stability and precision, but does not feel sporty. A Honda Civic feels somewhat sportier and is more fun to drive. The Forte GT should address this deficit.... Comparison vehicle: 2016 Honda Civic |

2018 Elantra GT Sport Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh As noted in the introduction, in previous generations Hyundai's European-market compacts have handled with more agility, precision, and stability than their American-market cousins. Unfortunately, with the latest generation the Elantra GT Sport hatchback doesn't handle as well as the Elantra Sport sedan even though, like the latter, it has an... 2016 Honda Civic Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh The new Honda Civic handles well much like it performs well. Push the sedan even somewhat hard, and you'll discover understeer and limited grip from the tires. Drive it like such cars are typically driven, though, and the moderately firm steering (with more heft than in past Civics) feels quick... Comparison vehicle: 2017 Hyundai Elantra |

2016 Chevrolet Cruze Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh The situation is much the same with handling. The new Chevrolet Cruze's suspension is tuned very well. In hard turns it understeers (plows towards the outside curb) less than the Honda and feels more composed and precise. Ask, and it will obey. It helps that the Cruze Premier RS's Michelins... Great car overall, be careful if it snows where you live. 2008 Honda Civic Pros and Cons Member6467 Goodhandling for such a small non-sporty car -- not amazing handling mind you, just better-than-avrage for a car of this type. |

2014 Kia Forte SX Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh I think I will put handling here. The Forte SX handles competently, with good control and a moderate amount of roll. I found the coupe very pleasant to drive. Its Nexen tires don't squeal, even if you turn off the nearly seamless traction control and push them near their limits.... EX Mustang Owner now owns a CIVIC SI 2013 Honda Civic Pros and Cons Member538 A joy to handle, a canyon carver. Now if I lived in the mountains I would probably choose a Mazda MX5, but I don't, I live in the flat area of South Carolina, and roads here are straight as a die. |
The 8th-gen Civic Si sedan. 8000rpm never gets old. 2009 Honda Civic Love Letter cjones314 You won't find a better FWD performer without going back to the Integra Type R. Especially with the sedans. Slight oversteer on drop-throttle. Comically stable at high speed; there's noticeable downforce above 80mph.The stock suspension does very well at the limit. The scary part about this car is that weaving... |

2013 Honda Civic Si Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh In most aspects the Civic Si tackles curves very well, so I almost didn't include handling among the "why nots." Especially with the optional Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tires, the Civic Si's chassis has high limits, below which you'll experience hardly any understeer. A limited-slip differential prevents wheelspin when accelerating... Comparison vehicle: 2012 Volkswagen Jetta |

2013 Nissan Sentra SL Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh On the highway, the Sentra is easily knocked off course by crosswinds. In suburban driving, though, the Sentra handles safely and predictably, with better composure than I expected given the fairly soft suspension. There's some lean in hard turns, but "soggy" or "clumsy" never entered my mind. Compared to the... Comparison vehicle: 2013 Honda Civic |

2013 Honda Civic EX-L Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh The Honda Civic's low curb weight also benefits handling. Or at least it does with the changes for 2013. Both the steering and the suspension have been firmed up and finessed. The former now has a more natural feel to it, and the latter bottoms out far less easily and... 07 Civic LX 2007 Honda Civic Pros and Cons A member in Arizona, United States The engine is under powered for hill driving. The engine is very loud and rough at idle. There is a knocking sound while reversing. Sometimes the idle speed suddenly drops when stopping / braking at red lights. |

Good dependable economy car. 2003 Honda Civic Pros and Cons Member5607 Front wheel drive doesn't provide good traction from wet stops . There's wheel spin while starting on wet cross walk strips or oil build up .I'm using light throttle. Maybe optional traction control would help. I'm not sure if it's available on an 03 Civic. Starting off in 2nd gear... |

2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh While the Veloster's rearward visibility would cause the most aggravation in daily life, people aren't necessarily buying this car for practical reasons (though, between the usable rear seat and cargo area, it's pretty practical). They're buying a Veloster, especially the Turbo, to have fun. While the Veloster Turbo doesn't handle... Comparison vehicle: 2012 Honda Civic |

2007 Honda Civic Pros and Cons Member5330 The car handled very well in my test drive and only suffered very minor torque steer on the low end. Very good composure overall and never downright jarring. |

2010 Honda Civic Pros and Cons A member in Alberta, Canada Very tight predictable handling. Responsive steering and not twitchy at all. The car tracks over bumps and around corners with alot of composure. It handles like a car that costs quite a bit more |

2008 Honda Civic Pros and Cons Member4753 Surprisingly crisp, the steering feel is quick and responsive. Turn in response has a go-cart like character to it. I did not expect it, but it is somewhat fun to toss around. |
