2016 Honda Pilot Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh The Honda Pilot's handling is stable and safe, but not at all sporting. If you want flatter cornering and more agile handling, Honda apparently wants you to spend the additional ten grand for the related but less roomy Acura MDX. This said, the Toyota and Nissan handle no... Comparison vehicle: 2014 Toyota Highlander |
Good Car for Large Families or Those who Have Lots of Stuff 2004 Honda Pilot Pros and Cons Member5654 The car's handling is only OK> |
2012 Honda Pilot Pros and Cons Member5469 The car drove well, I'd use the word "underwhelming" to describe the experience. The road noise was so bad on the highway that you have to raise your voice. Transmission is smooth, but possibly underpowered engine. |

2007 Honda Pilot Pros and Cons Member4143 I have 18 in. wheels and Toyo tires. It drives live/handles like a tight car. |

2004 Honda Pilot Pros and Cons Member4072 I FELT TORQUE STEER ON ACCELERATION THE STEERING WHEEL JERKED AS POWER WAS APPLIED TO THE FRONT WHEELS |

2010 Honda Pilot Pros and Cons Member3763 My one quibble with the Pilot was the steering, which was sloppy and numb on center. Worse than an 83 Cutlass I owned. Did not elicit confidence in maneuvering the vehicle. |
2005 Honda Pilot Pros and Cons Member3398 handles like the tall SUV that it is. |
2008 Honda Pilot Pros and Cons DCBruce Handling is safe and predictable enough, but lots of body lean |
2003 Honda Pilot Pros and Cons Member3289 Very quick & responsive. I like the short turning radius. I do not like the overpowering I get on a right turn in snow. The rear of the vehicle tends to drive me into the other lane. |

2006 Honda Pilot Pros and Cons Member3254 Handles well for a big vehicle |
2009 Honda Pilot Pros and Cons Member3074 Rides well at speed or off pavement. Very good (small) turn radius |

2004 Honda Pilot Pros and Cons A member in North Carolina, United States For a tall SUV, it handles much better than the Chevy Tahoe and Ford Epxedition it replaced. We particularly like its AWD system during wet conditions and during cornering. |
2007 Honda Pilot Pros and Cons Member2711 Wallows around much more than my previous SUV. The rear end porpoises when loaded and the OEM tires are awful. The ride and handling of the Deutsche machines is much, much better. |

2006 Honda Pilot Pros and Cons Member872 For a SUV, it handles and rides like a Grand Marque or Town Car, not a truck. |
2003 Honda Pilot Pros and Cons A member in Virginia, United States The vehicle has car like characteristics with a turning radius that puts other comparable autos in the same class to shame. The transmission is responsive and "learns" your driving style. The braking is responsive and acceleration is more than adequate. |
