Reviewed: 2006 Honda Ridgeline

4dr SUT 247-horsepower 3.5L V6 5-speed automatic AWD

Why the 2006 Honda Ridgeline?

Cargo capacity

Interior is larger than a sedan and truck bed can carry large appliances or furniture etc

Reliability & durability

The reliability of Honda vehicles has been well proven for a long time

Ride smoothness

The ride is very quiet and smooth and is not at all hard or truck-like.We enjoyed it as soon as the first test-drive,and have driven the Ridgeline on 400 mile trips without aches or fatigue.

Powertrain performance

The engine is responsive and peppy for such a large vehicle

Why Not the 2006 Honda Ridgeline?

Price or payments

The price in Canada was too high, and I believe I was overcharged by the dealer, but this was in part compensated by the low interest rate of 1.9% for 36 months from Honda Canada Finance.

Fuel economy

It is not very good but to be expected with this type of vehicle.I get approx.15 to 25 miles per gallon depending on conditions.

Insurance cost

These luxury vehicles are costly to insure and depreciate much more than a car.

Controls and instruments

The headlight switch is on the left and can be accidentally switched on with the left knee when exiting. There is no key opening in the passenger`s side door.
