Safety & braking

For a roadster this car has a very stiff chassis without much weight gain. Has very good front impact ratings, but average side impact ratings. Braking in this car is as good as any sports car, regardless of price.

Cargo capacity

I think it has more space than much of its competition, but there are times when you wish it had a bit more trunk space.

Ride smoothness

Not a smooth ride. Long trips can be a bit jarring, but certainly doable. This is not a cruiser.

Quietness

A hardtop will quiet the cabin, but tire noise is higher than average. Holding a conversation is not a problem, but you cannot whisper.

Insurance cost

Insurance is a bit high, but not as high as most of your "boy racer" models. If buying new the car does depreciate quickly in the first few years, but manages to hold its value for a longer period than average.
