Why the 2007 Hyundai Elantra?

Reliability & durability

Despite having some early production problems like any newly designed car, it has never had a major issue. It has never broken down on me or left me stranded.

Materials & workmanship

The quality is high overall in the interior in terms of materials used. The only exception is the beige interior. It stains way too easy, even with water!

Ride smoothness

It absorbs bumps better than most cars in its class. It does not float or bob up and down which is nice and it does not beat you up out on the road.

Quietness

Wind and engine noise is minimal. Suspension noise is pronounced as well as tire noise on certain pavement.

Interior styling

It has a futuristic look and up-level look to it. The blue LED lighting is easy on the eyes at night and all swichgear has a sturdy feel to it. It flows nicely around the cockpit and looks like nothing else in its class.

Why Not the 2007 Hyundai Elantra?

Handling

The 15 inch tires are too small for high speed highway driving. The car gets nervous around 75 and starts to wander too much, worse in crosswinds. Leans far too much into corners, even at low speeds. Get the 16 inch tires!!

Dealer practices

Dealerships tend to be small, dated buildings with fair to poorly trained service techs. We need a better dealer network with true factory trained techs. ASC certification and Hyundai factory training should be the minimum!Credentials should be displayed
