Why the 2017 Hyundai Elantra?

Cargo capacity

It has plenty of trunk and passenger space, and the newest safety technology and gadgetry. Would easily hold four and 4 large bags for an airport run. Good gas mileage, being a hybrid.

Tires

The other thing hyundai did which I consider unacceptable is, they don't have a spare tire, to provide more room for the battery and the cargo. You get a spray can of sealant, and a battery operated compressor. You also get 2 years of free roadside maintenance. Other similar cars have donuts, or emergency=use only spares. That's ok. If you damage a wheel in the middle of no where, the goop and the pump don't do you any good at all. Ask me how I know this, Actually, it was on a run-flat (not) tire The other thing to watch our for across all high gas mileage cars is that the manufacturers use tires that are not very "grippy" to enhance the mpg numbers. These tuires are very slippery, not good or safe in the rain, and totally useless and deadly in the snow or ice. Check the tires.

Color choices

Nice colors. You can't always get the upholstor color you want with the exterior color you want.

Past personal experience

The major thing I don't like is the package bundling. If you want the advanced safety features, you have to get the sunroof. Ever rolled a car? what do you want over your head, a sheet of glass, or some steel?

Discounts & incentives

On the internet, the dealer shows hugh insentives. Well, yes, but you can't qualify for them all. In fact, unless you're a left-handed transgender Eskimo buying their first car, you can't qualify for more than 1. Total crap. Move the metal - hey, I have a suggestion - don't waste my time.
