Introduction

I got this car for my wife after looking at several 2016 used models, including:
Infiniti Q50
Accord
Toyota Avalon
Subaru Legacy & Outback
Acura TLX

None of them could touch the performance, sporty driving, features, safety, and quality of the Kia Optimia SX Limited for anywhere close to the price. We originally looked a used one, but ended up buying a new car for only $2k more with all the incentives in a very good deal (~$28.5k). This trim-level is LOADED standard with almost every feature imaginable. One option to look for is the Homelink mirror for opening your garage door (ours has it, but it is not standard).

The SX Ltd, with 245hp & 270lbs torque, drove about as well a Q50 with much better gas mileage. It's infotainment system with CarPlay and Android Auto is far above anything else we drove including the Accord which also has a clunky CarPlay screen that has nothing but glare.

The interior is great with napa leather seats which are heated front AND back as well as cooled in the front.

The autonomous braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and 360 forward/reverse camera put it way ahead of anything less than $50k.

2016 Kia Optima Love Letter

Great styling with a sporty look.

Conclusion

The best car for anything close to the money.
