turbocharged 172hp 1.6L I4 6-speed shiftable automatic FWD

5000 mi   Car was dying immediately upon starting randomly and a warning light was going on and off. Had to have the car towed because I didnt want to drive it, and was given a replacement car for 2 days. This same problem happened 2 times so far 
16120   Injectors were clogged because of carbon build up. Oil was leaking from the oil pan.

50000 mi   Valve cover cracked. Apparently a known problem which Mini fixed by switching to a different part supplier. Luckily mine failed while still under warranty. 
63000 US $600 Engine experience rapid oil loss when screw backed out of timing chain tensioner. Oil coated underside of car including tires. When brakes applied the car became unstable but I was able to avoid a crash. While pulling to the side of the highway the oil

33000   Cold start engine knocking came back, last time the issue was resolved by fixing the timing chain. Unfortunately problem could not be reproduced at dealer. 
37000   Cold Start engine knocking issue again. Dealer did not attempt to solve it, I know because the dealer did not take the car for a test drive to replicate the issue. 
47000   Took car to new dealer, who determined the root cause of cold start engine noise.Issue was the purge valve in the emissions system, which was replaced by dealer under warranty.
