2008 Mazda Mazda5 Pros and Cons at TrueDelta: Owner Pros and Cons by donlabrecque

Rear seat room & comfort
One of the smallest vehicles with seating for 6. Going to a full size minivan removes the option for a manual transmission, severely reduces visibility and adds too much weight. SUVs are just way too big
Fuel economy
With a flexible 4 cylinder engine, and an available manual transmission, I average almost 30mpg with seating for 6
Price or payments
Low sticker, good base features and high resale makes this a cheap ride.
Handling
The steering has good feedback, and the turning radius is tight. The vehicle feels well planted.
Feature availability
No vehicle stability control, or limited slip option. This, combined with a high (for the Mazda3 platform) vehicle weight leave the inside tire spinning on aggressive turns, outside tire sliding on slick conditions.
Dealer practices
No negotiation on sticker price or trade in value. Limited product knowledge
