2015 Nissan Murano Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh When some people hear that the Nissan Murano has a CVT (continuously variable transmission), they immediately cross it off their list. 2010 Nissan Murano Pros and Cons Member4743 The CVT is well mated to the 3.5 engine with smooth response. It is easy to find the sweet spot at 1500 rpm to hold 58-60 mph. It seems like this will net better than average fuel economy, and a quiet, smooth driving experience on our rough Alaska roads! |

2009 Nissan Murano Pros and Cons A member in Texas, United States Very quick for a vehicle this size. 0-60 in 6.8-7.2 seconds. CVT transmission makes regular autmatics feel clunky due to shift shock |
|
2009 Nissan Murano Pros and Cons A member in Texas, United States Very smooth acceleration that is available at any speed |
|
2009 Nissan Murano Pros and Cons A member in Texas, United States very strong- car and driver measured 0-60 in 6.8 seconds. The CVT transmission is incredibly responsive. This is my first experience with a CVT, and now I am annoyed by the shift shock you get with regular autmoatic tranmissions |

2005 Nissan Murano Pros and Cons A member in New York, United States Not a speedster, but more than adequate power. I have driven over 20k miles towing a 3500# trailer, total weight with car, 8200#, at 80mph+ on turnpikes, steep mountain back roads and everything in between. It always had more speed available |
