2004 Pontiac Grand Prix Pros and Cons Member4969 Three things: The now common traction control, and ABS Systems, and my favorite the uncommon Stabilitrak system. The Stabilitrak diverts power from the engine and uses the brakes to keep your car going where you point it. Excellent on ice/snow!!! |

2008 Pontiac Grand Prix Pros and Cons Member3295 Braking on the GXP is AMAZING. This car will stop ridiculously fast for a 3000 lb sedan. |
|
2005 Pontiac Grand Prix Pros and Cons Member3697 The brakes have great feel and do not fade. The car will stop in about 120ft from 60mph. |
|
2006 Pontiac Grand Prix Pros and Cons Member1856 Stock vented (cross-drilled) brakes mean this thing stops well. Mine also came with side-impact air-bags, so it feels pretty safe. |

2006 Pontiac Grand Prix Pros and Cons Member1856 Cross-drilled and vented breaks come standard, and I find the stopping distance pretty freaking good for a large car. Mine also has side-impact air bags and did pretty well with safety ratings. |
