4dr Sedan 303-horsepower 5.3L V8 4-speed shiftable automatic FWD

Why the 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix?

Interior styling

Very comfortable layout, great features (NAV system, dual climate, etc.), suede and leather on seats, heads up display, large trunk and fold down back seat, nice styling even if some find it having "too much plastic"

Reliability & durability

J.D. Power gave this thing a half dot higher in initial quality than the Honda Accord of the same year. I have already put over 40,000 miles on it, and have had no trouble what-so-ever.

Safety & braking

Cross-drilled and vented breaks come standard, and I find the stopping distance pretty freaking good for a large car. Mine also has side-impact air bags and did pretty well with safety ratings.
