I love having the wagon vs a cuv/suv. Subaru was the really the only offer in this price range...alas they no longer have it accept for the Outback.
All-wheel drive provides safety in ways that are more important then simply having improved traction in the snow.
The two dealers I have worked with are great and as a whole I believe it is representative of how Subaru and their dealers work with people.
Subaru has a pretty good reputation and image...although it is a bit quircky as viewed by some. Reputation (a good one) usually has a major affect on resale value.
