Aggressive stance. A bit polarizing and unique.

Powertrain performance

Reasonable torque, especially above 3000 RPM. The AWD is unstoppable (with decent tires) in the snow and the car is well balanced.

Safety & braking

Built like a tank with many safety features even on the base model.

Brand reputation & image

Subarus are known for their reliability and longevity. They are much less common than most makes and are known for being different.

Fuel economy

A bit thirstier than I had hoped - but the AWD probably has a lot to do with that.
