Pano roof sometimes failed to close properly. Opening & reclining would fix it. They replaced the track/trim on one side. That fixed it. You need an entry for motor, since I don't have an engine! Car had a subtle low frequency hum around 70 mph. They replaced the motor to fix it. Rattle coming from passenger side A pillar. rear passenger window would go half way up, then reverse and go back down. I figured out that I could raise it an inch at a time to get it up all the way. Rattle coming from hatch area, possible rear center speaker grill. Repair was successful initially, but rattle returned after about a week. They're aware of it and will make another attempt at the annual service in late April.
Apr 2015

Seems fixed initially, but noise returned after a few weeks. Right rear outside door handle did not present when pushing on it. It would come out as part of the group if you pushed on another, or put the car in Park.
May 2016

21100 mi
Rattle in headliner directly over passenger Rattle/creak front center of headliner Rattle coming from passenger side rear door. Rattle is still there after attempted repair. Edge of headliner coming loose and exposed over driver's door. The rubber seal along the edge of headliner is supposed to cover it, but the headliner fabric keeps coming free of it. Repaired, but problem came back after a few weeks.
May 2017

29000 mi
Big center screen developed a small bubble under the glass. Cosmetic, no functional problem. Replaced under warranty. Panorama roof had a squeak when closed. They noticed the rubber seal was out of alignment and replaced it. It still squeaked but when I added some wd-40 to it, it was quiet. I had done that before and it didn't get quiet, so maybe it needed both replacement and lube.
May 2018

36000 mi
Outside, front passenger door would only open if you pulled towards the right side of the handle. They adjusted the sensor and that fixed it. Piano roof “skitters” or kind of shakes in its tracks as it opens past about 50%. They ordered a new roof panel.

Instrument panel failed--a known problem. Screen begins to come apart, with "bubbles" emerging to obscure the display. Had to pay Tesla $1300 to install a refurbished part! Rear parking sensor fell into the bumper, because the glue (!) holding it in from the factory failed. Tesla charged $105.00 to re-glue the sensor in place. Process took more than 7 hours, because software continued to fail and car was immobilized.

Car wouldn't start or release charge cable — dead in garage. Car was transported to service center for diagnosis and repairs. Problem was a corroded wire to the charge port. Tesla service said it took nine hours to find the problem but they comped me all but one hour. My car is long out of warranty (except for the battery and drive unit). Service also paid for a rental car to get me to the service center to pick up my car.

54935 mi
No power brake, occurred twice after a day with snow melting and the next day it was frozen. I could brake but I had to press hard. The issue disappeared by itself after some time, but I didn't want to take any chance so I sent the car to the service center on the second occurrence. They tried to reproduce the issue without success. They did some performance test of the vacuum pump with their equipment and saw some incorrect voltage readings, so they replaced it. They suspect that moisture was inside the pump. Replaced trunk drain plugs with new model. Parking brake warning light. Replaced left parking brake caliper assembly.
May 2019

55466 mi
Had a "Low coolant" message in the car occasionally, getting more often each day. 2 days ago I saw liquid under the car, took pictures and sent to mobile service team which was supposed to come a week later. They told me to go to the service center ASAP, which I did. They found leak from the 4 Way Coolan Valve - Series/Parallel. They replaced it, it was quick work. Charge cable didn't work with 110v or 220v. Replaced universal mobile connector.
Jun 2019

57040 mi

59520 mi
Defective rear passenger door handle. The handle motor did not work, the handle did not expand.
Apr 2020

62751 mi
Cracking when over speed bumps at low speed. Tesla replaced suspension control arms and sway bar. I also asked to check for a possible cooling fluid leak, but they did not find anything. The problem came back once after this trip but nothing afterward. The leak was in the middle of the car, so it was possibly an overflow as this is where it goes. I also asked for a knocking when going from forward to reverse and reverse to forward as I was getting close to the end of the warranty, they did not hear it, but it's still there. I assume it's a normal wear and will not break soon.
Jun 2020

63240 mi
Brake vacuum pump made a strange noise early in the morning. Mobile service came and replaced it within one hour. Afterward the hood did not latch anymore, he had to come again with the latch part the next week. Hood latch broke during the last service from Tesla mobile. He replaced the latch.
Jan 2021

65720 mi

C $524
3 way valve leaked. This valve was replaced 2 years ago. Leaking again... Did not send to Tesla, cost way too much than a closer repair shop that does Teslas. Drove there as the leak didn't prevent me to go.
Apr 2021

67952 mi

C $750
Broken rear control arm (around rubber). Replaced myself with my father. Took long because we lost screws and the new control arm was pretty hard to put in place due to torsion to apply to rubber.
Aug 2021

68820 mi

C $400
Replaced the other side rear control arm before it broke like the previous one. The cracking boat sound went away, it was caused by a bit loose bushing in the control arm.
Feb 2022

70524 mi

C $28
Corrosion on drive side ground connection (5 cables on that ground), under the frunk. Caused occasional loosing of power steering, ABS, stability control, power brake, going to neutral, Christmas tree error messages. Unscrew the nut, but the aluminum stud broke. Decided to bring the ground connection elsewhere near the wheel using a 4 gauge cable from an auto shop near my house. Cable cost 18 CAD$, dielectric grease cost 8$. Drilled the aluminum plate and tightened hard the cable with a bolt and nut I had. Problem gone.
Apr 2022

70866 mi

C $383
Passenger parking brake was having issue in the last weeks. Driver side parking brake was replaced 2 years ago under warranty. I removed the parking brake and the motor started to work normally again, I put it back in place and it worked for 2 weeks but issue came back. I decided to buy a used parking brake from a shop not that far from here, but it was not the correct side. I spent time because I thought I would be able to take components from the original brake to make it work, but in the end, even if the driver and passenger parking brake were not exactly the same, it mechanically fit, so I just assembled everything back in place with the newer parking brake and it's been flawless since then.
