4dr Sedan 187-horsepower 2.4L I4 Hybrid CVT FWD

Why the 2008 Toyota Camry?

Fuel economy

Uses regular gas. Average fuel mileage in high 30s and a few times have reached 40. Winter fuel reduces mileage by 3-5 mpg. Cannot run on 85% biofuel.

Reliability & durability

Reputation for quality instills confidence. Have not had the car back in the repair shop in 10,000 miles. Do minor maintenance myself.

Ride smoothness

Absorbs bumps well. Corners without much body lean.

Quietness

Excellent noise suppression.

Feature availability

High end model comes with many extras which make it more of a semi-luxury experience.

Why Not the 2008 Toyota Camry?

Cargo capacity

Very small cargo space due to battery pack. Even laying the rear seat down allows only a small space to access the rear seat area. Something on the order of a fishing pole or two. Rear shelf area is off limits due to cooling fan for batteries.
