Introduction

I love this truck, it's not going to win any races, it's loud, mpg is great for a truck though, and as a home owner it's just super helpful to own. I purchased my truck used with 17k miles, it is very basic with power windows and AC as the only real amenities.. It doesn't have cruise control, jump seats, intermittent wipers, a backup camera or any other filler.. it's just basic and that is the best thing about it. It's actually fun to drive, it doesn't control everything you do, and as a result you feel way more in control than most other vehicles. I honestly enjoy driving it more than any other vehicle I have owned in a long time. Some of the best features are the simplistic design and space under the hood, you can actually work on it yourself, though with the reliability of these things I have at least 75k miles till ill have to do spark plugs.. mpg I get 26mpg on the highway if I keep it under 80. The 4wd system even without atrac or lockers feels unstopable, the bed is composite so it will never rust and no need for a liner.. The seats are comfortable though more sports car like due to the cab size.. People with big feet may have issues with fitting between the dash and clutch.. One of my favorite features is how you can see, the window sills sit lower than nearly every other vehicle on the road made after 2005, the windows are big, A pillars are shaped to minimize blind spots and that really instills confidence when driving.. It was/is the last year of a 12 year old aging design.. it is a truck, not a car, hitting large holes will adjust your kidneys.. and for someone that doesn't need all the electronics and enjoys the ride.. they will love it. Just as I do..

Conclusion

If you find a good deal on one, buy it.. you won't be disappointed as long as you know it isn't an S class or Lexus..
