Mar 2008   Replaced a light bulb in the center console (behind the heater). I did it myself (the dealer gave me the part for free). 
Jan 2009   Very intermittent groaning/squeaking from rear of car in reverse, mostly in the morning. Doesn't seem to be brake-related (happens even if the brakes aren't being used).

May 2007 US $330 Power door lock failed for one door. Major part had been ordered, but a minor, inexpensive part was found to also need replacement upon performing repair. As part was not immediately available, car was left at shop another day to allow for completion of r 
Sep 2008   Replaced cracked CV boot; CV joint itself in good condition. Replaced noisy starter; had driven car for months with problem. Internet chat suggested old grease as underlying problem, but fixed by using a rebuilt starter due to labor cost vs guarantee of solution working.  
Jun 2009   Battery dead. Alternator tested and found to be providing low charging amperage (about half normal). Replaced alternator and battery (due to age). 
Sep 2009   Cleaned throttle body control unit in response to code P1582. 
Mar 2010   Engine missed occasionally in damp weather; CEL on. Original coil and plug wires replaced.  
Sep 2010   Alternator and battery replaced, $450 for both.

Oct 2006 US $2009 Axle shaft broke away from transmission $2008.00, dealer fixed axle issue, car will not start... (see second issue) Dealer fixed axle issue, car will not start, wanted new diagnostic charge for and additional $85, I refused and had the car towed home. found engine compartment disassembled and parts left in hatchback are 
Jun 2007   Original turbo replaced at my expense Transmission differential is held together with rivets, the rivets separated and caused wear on the transmission case. the worn metal caused the differential to fail. 
Aug 2008   Turbocharger failed. Had turbo replaced.

Apr 2007 US $450 The oil pump was about to die and wasn't providing the required oil pressure for the engine to operate ok. Dealer indicated that if it wasn't replaced it could blow out the engine.

May 2007 US $59 Had a rattle on acceleration, dealer replaced exhaust clamp on this trip. Rattle continued after this repair. Dealer found catalytic converter was causing the rattle. Catalytic converter was replaced, still under warranty. 
Jun 2007   Windshield wipers kept freezing up for several seconds, had to be towed home because severe rain made driving unsafe. Made appointment at shop, found the wiper linkage binding and was replaced. 
Aug 2007   Took it in because of creaking that seemed to be coming from the suspension, shop inspected suspension components and found them to be ok.
