2007 Honda Civic 4dr Sedan

197-horsepower 2.0L I4 6-speed manual FWD

20000 mi The plastic housing in both the driver and passenger windshield visors split, so neither visor would hold a fixed inclination very well. The driver visor was completely split so I was using tape to hold it together. The dealer replaced both visors. The round plastic shroud covering the driver airbag mounted on the steering wheel was starting to split right down the middle.  The replacement airbag shroud which had been ordered on Trip 1 was quickly installed.
27000 mi

US $170
Minor squeak in sunroof mechanism.
29000 mi Crows feet/cracks on hood. Occurs mostly on Black but a few Blues and Grays are affected. Ideally covered by the warranty but it depends on which dealer you go to. Not published as a TSB. Rental car not covered
30000 mi squeaking sunroof
68000 mi

US $100
Torn shift boot. Replaced.
48700 mi

US $5
The moonroof was stuck in either a closed position that would cause wind noise to enter the cabin, or popped up. I put WD40 in the little arm that moves the sunroof.
9000 mi Rattle in headliner over back seat.
9000 mi Rattle in the headliner. Repair attempted, but problem returned when the weather warmed up.
24000 mi Sunvisor was broken, and replaced.
61000 mi Passenger Sun Visor cracked and would not stay up. Replaced.
5000 mi light clunking noise from left rear of vehicle. Dealership wasn't able to reproduce or find anything wrong. Haven't noticed anything since.

140-horsepower 1.8L I4 5-speed manual FWD

24000 mi 2 problems:1) The clutch pedal makes a squeaking noise sometimes, almost like a rusty door-hinge. The dealer could not replicate the problem.
51000 mi The driver side visor had a stuck hinge that forced the two plastic sides to come apart in the area. But I was able to get it working correctly again. I'm not sure I would pay to get it fixed.
18000 mi Repaired sun visor.
123000 mi

US $4
Repaired Sun Visors- (see YouTube video) Honda would not cover after 100,000 miles. New Visor $65 each- repaired both for $3.50. TAkes approx. 30 min per sun visor.... Repair looks professional

Driver side door slightly adjusted because it was not even with car: saw this after a few months but waited to address and dealer did it for free.

Latch for cover to the center console broke and would not latch. Bought new latch - I will install, but very difficult to do, as there is a strong spring to replace. (Would be about another $35 for the dealer to do and the parts cost me $4.
81300 mi Split visor. Does it once a year and is covered until 100,000. Visors can't take the heat. And when I get to 100K, I'm going to push Honda on it.
