107660 mi | Both body problems (vertical panel behind back left passenger window - did read someone else had the same problem. A small clip, he was able to have it fixed. Here in Vancouver, Canada can't buy clip, need to replace entire piece). Other item is a stripped clip where nut holds the back bumper on at the side of the car (triangulated at that point). |

The Fit has a known issue where body sealant between the upper rear quarter panels and the roof panel develops cracks, allowing water to seep into the spare tire well. I decided to check to see if mine was leaking and found that it was. I applied fresh 3M body sealant into the cracks, which seems to have resolved the issue. |

After several days of heavy rain, I found a large quantity of water on the floor in the rear seat area, on both sides. Water was over 1" deep on both sides. Additionally, I found over 1" of water in the spare tire area. I shop vacuumed over 2 gallons of water out of the car overall. For the rear hatch area leak, I sealed the roof rails with RTV on both sides, as recommended online. For the rear floor leaks, I removed both rear door panels, and replaced the seal on the vapor barrier, which had failed, again following advice I found online for similar leaks with 2007 Honda Fits. |
