The wrong lubricant was likely used on the brake pad slide area (mechanic noted it was dry); and 2. the lower control arm bushing (right side) may need replacing - the mechanic sprayed some deep creep on it. As a result of this two adjustments, the clunking disappeared, but since he did both things at once the actual solution was not isolated. |
