Transmission failed. covered under warranty so didn't pay anything. really disappointed though.

Car seemed to be slipping (as if on ice) and then would get very sluggish. Was also making a loud clanking noise when hard turns. Dealer decided it was the L/F axle that needed replacing.
54000 mi
Thought the new axle was the fix, but the 'slipping' happened again. To the shop, could not replicate. Since the trans fluid was due for changing at 60k (we are at 54k) had it changed.
Seemed fine until last week. 'Slipped again'.
Annoyi
59000 mi
US $1500
Good News - the slipping, clunking and sticking in 3rd gear finally was able to be replicated by the dealer (also had a CEL) when taken in from the trans.
Bad News - Needed a new transmission. Not quite the Hyundai quality I expected.
67000 mi
SEAM LEAK - SEEPING. HYUNDAI DOES NOT REPAIR. TRANSMISSION REPLACED.
16900 mi
US $165
Engine oil/filter change
Transmission service. Noticed trans fluid was dark brown and smelled burnt. ATF was overheating due to blockage in the transmission. Had to remove the filter to access the blockage to remove it.
20000 mi
Transmission TCC valve inactive when transmission is started out in 3rd gear but is active once the gearshift is put in drive and back into 3rd gear. Trans TCC valve is supposed to work in both 3rd and 4th all the time.
