Both left & right front lower control arm rear bushes had split. Genuine replacement bushes bought, control arms removed from car and damaged bushes pressed out, new ones pressed in, control arms re-fitted to car. A creaking sound was noticed when compressing front suspension. Identified as worn upper strut top bearings and also worn lower spring isolators. Both strut top bearings, upper spring seats, & lower spring isolators replaced with new. |
