2009 Mitsubishi Lancer 4dr Sedan

turbocharged 237hp 2.0L I4 6-speed automated manual AWD

25000 mi Transmission started slipping on both sets of clutches, primarily in gears 4, 5, and 6. Happened all of the sudden with no previous issues. After several days of diagnostics, Mitsubishi decided to replace the transmission entirely.
27000 mi The gear shifter was very notchy and felt like it was catching on something after they replaced the transmission. After they looked at the issue, they ordered a replacement gear shift. They replaced the gear shift with a new one. All is fine now.
45260 mi Active Center Differential (ACD or AWC) pump failed due to corrosion, replaced w/new. This is typical for AWD Evos and Ralliarts @ 65-100K KM in this climate. Had to "talk" with service manager to get covered under warranty.

CVT transmission making whinning noise, oil flushed, did not help, dealer put new transmission in.
36300 mi At exactly 40-43MPH, while the vehicle is under load (accelerator pressed, even if not accelerating), I heard a quiet whining noise. Dealer said it was not the dreaded CVT whine, but they said it had to be replaced anyway.
71300 mi

C $900
Transmission lines and oil cooler were corroded and needed replacement.

The car kept giving me an error and would eventually stop working due to overheating transmission fluid. The shop said they couldn't do much else without replicating the problem, but they could change out the transmission fluid, which would either fix it or make it a lot worse. I let them change it, and everything is now fine. I even drove it on some 12h days, and I've had no issues.
