80000 mi Rt. rear window not operating. Dealer supposedly linked issue to door module, and after I told him to hold of on ordering the $500+ part, ordered it anyway. Found unplugged umbilical cord and "fixed" that myself, saving $500+. 2 year old Interstate battery was no good, so I replaced it myself. Unplugged rt. rear door cord caused srs malfunction to trigger. Cord was reconnected and malfunction light was reset via obdII by me.

Replaced oem alternator. This was not a fun job. and now the TPMS system refuses to work. Since replacing the alternator, the TPMS light is on, and the system is not functioning. 42000 mi Actually three things. One was the Auto Headlight feature failed sometimes. Lights would not go out in full sun r would come on in middle of the night in the garage. Has the early switch with an Off position. After much discussion with M-B, they said would not repair even though I had reported when car under extended warranty. Dealership said they would replace the switch but I would have to agree to hold them blameless if any other systems in car were affected. Also said to leave in Auto position and not use Off position. Decided not to do as it works most of the time. Actually there was supposedly a TSB out on this very issue. Second problem is second failure of Easy Entry/Exit feature for driver's seat. Not repaired due to cost. Third problem is AC puts out too much from upper vents even when set on 74 or so and vents 3/4 shut. NPF by dealer. Easy Entry/Exit feature quit working for second time. Did not get it repaired as it cost too much and dealer had to keep the car for two more days to get everything coordinated (computers).
