19000 mi windshield wipers did not work
44600 mi

US $413
Windshield cracked all the way across for no obvious reason.
6200 mi driver seat belt would not release from stowed position. belt was replaced by dealer.

right front fender liner broke free from the fender and began dragging on the pavement. believe that this relates to a previously poor repair of the same issue.
80000 mi The Hyundai Active Headrest system activated, spontaneously on its own while the car was parked overnight. The headrests popped open. Search for "Re-setting Hyundai active headrests" for the repair procedure, which you can do yourself. It includes removing the headrest and applying force to reset and reseat the popped headrest; a fair amount of force is required.
33000 mi Automatic seat (driver) components grinding. Replaced under original warranty
1000 mi Driver side door would not latch when closing the door causing the door to remain open. Occurred intermittently, with several days between occurrences. Door latch mechanism was replaced. No issues since.
95000 mi

US $1900
Rear tires showing radials; replaced all 4
4200 mi 12 volt console aux jack melted plug on an accessory due to design problem with the jack location. It's in the air duct to rear heat/AC vents where temp reaches 190 F when heat is on, overheating the jack. Dealer replaced jack after a lot of dialogue.
1000 mi Genesis had severe tire vibration from the beginning. Dealer Service agreed there was a problem with 3 tires and ordered them. Not yet installed.
1300 mi Vehicle still vibrated after replacing three tires. Dealer replaced fourth tire and this fixed the problem. Car might have sat on lot for too long with underinflated tires.
4000 mi Right rear door would not open from inside. Probably that way since delivered. An actuator arm was reinstalled and that fixed the problem.
