Sliding pins in both rear brake calipers were sticking, which caused premature pad wear (worn down to screeching indicator). Thoroughly cleaned and lubricated caliper pins & bores. Replaced pads, rotors, and pin boots with aftermarket parts. Front brakes look OK - pins good, original pads still have several mm depth left. |
