Water leaking causing the headliner to stain. Entire panoramic roof assembly and the headliner was replaced. This repair was a dealer debacle that took two months. I involved VW of America because the dealer experience was less than satisfactory. I was given a loaner for the duration of the repair.
12800 mi Rear fender on the driver's side was starting to come unfastened. The screw/bolt was defective. Probably due to faulty installation at the factory or a defective piece that held the bolt. The dealer replaced the fender.
3000 mi The panoramic sunroof kept falsely activating the pinch-protection and wouldn't shut unless the wind deflector was held down. Dealer replaced wind deflector and rectified issue.
17000 mi Sunroof refused to close, and then broke.
33000 mi sunroof rattling over bumps and not closing from the tilt position. 1st trip tracks were lubed and frame adjusted. Problems returned.
