Engine problem light illuminated. Code indicates CO sensor. Mechanic said probably not a problem. Car is sitting til I return in a month. Meanwhile waiting to see what VW does to resolve diesel problems.

20000 mi In tank fuel pump broke apart requiring replacement of total fuel delivery system- pumps, pipes, injectors etc. 
19000 mi fuel pump broke apart with metal pieces contaminating fuel system 
49000 mi The diesel particulate filter (DPF) failed. This is especially noteworthy because VW replaced the DPF 14 months prior as a result of the dieselgate recall. This part failed 14 months later in July 2021. It was covered under VWs extended emission warranty.
