2015 Hyundai Genesis 4dr Sedan

311-horsepower 3.8L V6 8-speed shiftable automatic RWD

23000 mi The car's computer was defective. When I started the car it ran very roughly and with many warning lights. They picked it up on a flatbed. New computers were on backorder for a month.... they fixed under warranty and provided a loaner vehicle
14300 mi Genesis ran Hot twice from 1000 mile trip, had to be towed to dealership, spent 5 days in shop..replaced radiatior and cooling fans and module.
8000 mi Car shakes very noticeably at idle. Vibration is much reduced when turning off the A/C system. Worst when stopped in gear, but reproducible caused by A/C system being on (compressor?)
31000 mi ECU was replaced due to random sensor alerts until the vehicle eventually would not start at all.
45000 mi

US $90

C $1000
Faulty oxygen sensor had car stalling and Traction Control engaging constantly. Reported the Traction Control button was constantly on issue to dealership, but they wouldn't diagnose it unless Check Engine light was on. Whn I brought the car in when the Check Engine light was on, was told I'd have to make an appt. WhenI brought it in for appt, light was off, they wouldn't diagnose it. Car finally died in their lot before they had to push it into Bay and then told me it would be 3 days to get sensor replaced because part had to come from Vancouver. Then told me that Rotors were warped and pads were shot; $1000 bill.
75640 mi

C $379
Took car in for Oil change, brought it home to find it was leaking slowly, leak turned into torrent, had to have the car towed back to the dealership at my cost despite my extended Hyundai Factory warranty includes Roadside Assistance, but dealership doesn't like recognizing it. They claimed issue was a corrupted Oil Pan plug. Drove car home, only to realize it was leaking even worse now, had it towed again, 3 days later they claimed it was extensive impact damage to the entire undercarriage and that I should file an Insurance claim to cover the "Thousands" the repair would cost. Took it to an independent garage, for $379 they replaced the Oil Pan, recognizing that it had the same type of plug as Toyota Corolla's which are apparently known for becoming corrupted. Could not be more disgusted with the incompetence and attempt to deceive and defraud
25000 mi Faulty accelerator sensor
3000 mi Mounting arm on Intake Resonator was broken where it mounts to the intake manifold. It is out of sight under the engine cover & went unnoticed until it tilted downward. Removal of the cover revealed the break. Probably broken from factory.
13000 mi Car shifted rough, and Traction Light came on intermittently, along with missing outside temp data. Car was scanned for codes. Indicated malfunctioning Fuel Pump module. Module was replaced, and solved all of the reported issues.
