Transmission leaking, completely replaced. Replacement transmission was not put in, third transmission was a charm.
Ticking noise coming from drivetrain tunnel for a couple minutes after a cold start, then goes away. Dealer put tape under center console. Noise still persists.
10600 mi
Ticking noise coming from drivetrain tunnel for a couple minutes after a cold start, then goes away (2nd attempt to repair). Dealer replaced passenger seat track assembly. Noise still persists.
8000 mi
Car shakes severely when driving, even after multiple tire re-balancing efforts. Dealer could reproduce but not fix, other vehicle on the lot did the same. Worst ride I have ever experienced, and I drive a lot of rental cars.
After 4 weeks at the dealer, the rattle from passenger side B-pillar trim piece was fixed. rnAll four tires were replaced with new (but same brand and model) tires. Vibration issues continue, and getting worse. Idle vibration also not fixed.
24 mi
Vehicle still vibrates excessively at any speed while driving (steering wheel shakes left/right) and also vibrates (unrelated) heavily at idle (think old Diesel truck). Tried new dealership and service department (third Hyundai/Genesis dealer in 2 years) - same result, nothing got fixed. I cannot wait for the lease to end on this car, this is the worst vehicle I have owned in the last 20 years, simply due to vibration issues at speed and at idle.
