Clutch started slipping and got worse. The mechanic thought the hydraulic clutch was not completely releasing. Replaced clutch, pressure plate and bearing. I was quoted $3000 at the dealer , $2300 at an independent shop and $1600 at another shop. I went with the cheapest price. The Mini was always having minor problems and was a frustrating vehicle to own. |
