2760 mi numerous instances of engine light coming on, Dynamic stability, eye-sight, all disabled. several trips to get sorted. reset it, but broke the next day. Reset and waited for part, charcoal canister in fuel line.broke again, replaced sensor After the garage called Subaru tech, they finally fixed the problem. Had to do with two sensors and resetting computer. Frustrating. Don't know why safety systems (Dynamic control, eyesight) go off when sensor in fuel line does.
7440 mi Check engine light still coming on frequently. Have now replaced 2 filters, valves on both sides of engine, and most recently, after consulting with Subaru tech: wiring connectors. Very frustrating. Another trip for the engine warning system. Again it had to be reset.
8440 mi again engine light came on. Also purge valve on tank failed, almost impossible to fill up. Had flat tire just after getting off expressway. engine light was on, so dynamic stability program off. had the tire blown on highway, cld have skid. again, engine light, also purge valve fixed, and engine light system rechecked. Apparently connectors failed. This on going problem finally cleared. NO RESPONSE from Subie customer service after twice contacting them. Not happy at all!
