2017 Honda CR-V 4dr SUV

turbocharged 190hp 1.5L I4 CVT FWD

11000 mi Shifter button broke off
20000 mi Button on shifter that allows you to move from park to R/D reverse/drive broke a small plastic part inside cracked and could not move out of park.was about to have car towed to dealer when I figured out that I could put my finger and slide down the release, then drove straight to Dealer. Service representative told me that this is a common problem with 2017 CRV and of course no recall yet, so a 5 cent piece of plastic totally knocked out my $40,00 Honda, wonder how many people had to get their car towed to dealer for this defect?/

2017 Honda CR-V 4dr SUV

turbocharged 190hp 1.5L I4 CVT AWD

33000 mi Shifter knob popped off!
20000 mi Right front wheel bearing was making noise
14000 mi gear shift handle broke.. warranty work.. appears to be a defect in Hondas
17000 mi Gear shift broke.
8053 mi Plastic shift lever release button broke into several pieces, rendering it inoperative. Happened while shifter was in the Drive position, so I could only operate the shifter between Drive and Neutral. Dealer replaced shifter button, stating it was 3rd one they had seen. Had I not been able to push my vehicle out of its parking spot, a tow would have been required.
13000 mi Button on the gear selector broke leaving me stranded. The car was towed to the dealership. They had to overnight the parts for the fix. I had the car back the next day.
