twincharged 313hp 2.0L I4 Plug-in Hybrid 8-speed shiftable automatic AWD

21000 mi Auto requires service warning light persisted. Vehicle software replaced. Problem persisted. Dealer replaced backup battery for diagnostic system. Problem has recurred since then. Car scheduled for service on Monday, 9 April. Warning indicator came on and persisted. Message said to take car to the dealer for repair. Dealer replaced battery for backup warning system. Message disappeared for about a week. Has since returned. 
8000 mi Battery had died. Applied software update and reversion to resolve. Climate system not putting out appropriate temperatures. 
12000 mi Squeaking noise during low-level AC use. Replaced heat exchanger per Volvo technical bulletin.

This fixed the navigation system problem, and it also caused the car to run much better and extended the length on the battery charge from 18 to 20 miles, like when it was new.
